He was instrumental in building the 'Choice Group' and driving the Investment Banking business. As an Investment Banker, he was involved in diverse transactions across a range of situations and complexities. He provided unique strategies to unlock value for clients. His strong domain knowledge covering all facets of the equity & debt markets and a solution-oriented approach translated into client successes.
He also played an active role in identifying select companies and investing his proprietary capital in visionary managements.
Pareto Capital has been his brainchild to bring like-minded and aspirational entrepreneurs together to build a vibrant new-age financial services company.
Shikha is a seasoned investment banker with a strong academic background. Prior to co-founding Pareto, she spent a decade with SBI Capital Markets Ltd, working in client coverage and execution roles.
During her stint with SBI Capital Markets Ltd., she worked across equity capital market fund-raising (including IPOs, QIPs, rights issues and private equity transactions), corporate and valuation advisory, debt syndication and project finance. She gained domain knowledge, which empowered her to handle complex business and financial situations. She has led transactions with major Indian business houses and mid-market clients. She facilitated the fundraising of 50+ deals across equity, debt and structured products.
She is a gold medalist MBA from Xavier Institute of Management and a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI. She also holds an M.Sc in Finance (Gold medalist) from ICFAI University.
Pooja brings more than 13 years of experience in research and investor relations to Pareto Capital. She specialises in investor relations and strategic communications to enhance the capital market’s understanding of a company’s value proposition. She has managed all facets of an investor relations function, comprising strategies for companies that have newly gone public and high growth or in transition.
Pooja spent her foundation years in research and analytical roles at Moody’s and ICICI Bank, which helped hone her analytical skills and attention to detail. After heading the investor relations function at Motilal Oswal Private Equity, she spent 8 years with boutique IR consulting firms, developing strategic financial communication messaging for companies across sectors and market capitalisation. During her rich experience, she strengthened her ties with institutional investors, brokerage houses and other financial market participants.
After graduating from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, Pooja did her Master’s degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
